This JBL Motorsports Roadster is a Cobra replica that was ordered new by the current owner in 2011 and was delivered in 2013. It is finished in Plum Crazy Purple with Titanium stripes over black vinyl and is powered by a 5.0-Liter Coyote Aluminator V8 linked with a four-speed Performance Transmissions automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes four-wheel independent suspension, adjustable coilovers, Wilwood front disc brakes, 17" Halibrand-style alloy wheels, side-exit exhaust pipes, dual roll hoops, multi-point harnesses, and AutoMeter instrumentation. This Cobra replica is offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin, parts manuals, and a clean Texas title in the owner’s name describing the car as a 2013 Assembled Vehicle. The JBL Roadster accommodates taller drivers by extending the standard roadster wheelbase by 4" and narrowing the transmission tunnel. The fiberglass bodywork is fastened and bonded to a square-tube chassis and this example is finished in Plum Crazy contrasted by Titanium stripes. Features include polished bumperettes, a hood scoop, vented fenders, windshield frame-mounted side mirrors, wind wings, side-exit exhaust pipes, dual roll hoops, and a LeMans-style fuel filler cap. The 17" Halibrand-style alloy wheels feature faux three-eared knock-off hubs and are mounted with 275/40 front and 315/35 rear Sumitomo tires. The four-wheel independent suspension features adjustable coilovers at all four corners and a manual Flaming River steering rack is fitted. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs with black four-piston Wilwood calipers on the front axle. The low-back bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl that extends to the door panels. Appointments include tinted polycarbonate sun visors, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, RJS multi-point harnesses, a fire extinguisher, and Cobra-branded floor mats. The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a black vinyl-wrapped dashboard with AutoMeter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 610 miles. The 5.0-liter DOHC Coyote Aluminator V8 features four valves per cylinder, a drive-by-wire throttle, a cold air intake, polished Ford Racing valve covers, and a body-color engine cover. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Ford 4R70 four-speed automatic transmission, a Ford 8.8" rear end, and a limited-slip differential fitted with 3.73:1 gearing. A Jazz fuel cell is installed, and an electrical cut-off switch is located near the rear-mounted battery. The current Texas title carries a “Replica: 1965 Ford” designation in the remarks section.
